Robinson - Oblivion (Official Video)
I wrote Oblivion about my beautiful Dad who passed when I was 11 years old and knew I just had to make a video for this song that channeled him and a little piece of the life he lived. His favourite thing was film, he truly filmed everything so all of these shots are him behind the camera documenting moments from his perspective. He was an unbelievably kind, daring and adventurous soul, and though my time with him was limited... his essence and fiercly warm heart has shaped everything I am today and I feel so happy to share a piece of that with you in this video! I MISS YOU DAD BUT I KNOW YOU'RE RIGHT BESIDE ME!!!!! xxxx

Lyrics:
And I'm crawling back to you honey
I see figure 8's of us and they're creeping past my room
And you're gone
So my lungs
Cannot breathe
Through the night
Clinging to a polaroid
And it's hanging from my roof
Sleeping sideways as the moons on fire
Even she is missing you
My sweetheart
I'm yours
And you're mine
Intertwine
Why do we always separate
I hate you leaving, it's the death of me
When I look up, I know that you're calling
Calling me up once more
I don't want to see these lights
They're just reminders of what was once mine
We fall into oblivion
One day I know I'll get to you soon
Can't see through the thunderstorm
Now the rain is pouring down
Open the windows if you could come round'
I will hold you in my arms
And be strong
We'll be fine
Keep you here
Through the night
Why do we always separate
I hate you leaving, it's the death of me
When I look up, I know that you're calling
Calling me up once more
I don't want to see these lights
They're just reminders of what was once mine
We fall into oblivion
One day I know I'll get to you soon
I'll get to you soon
Soon...
I'll get to you soon
I'll get to you soon
Why do we always separate
I hate you leaving, it's the death of me
When I look up, I know that you're calling
Calling me up once more
I don't want to see these lights
They're just reminders of what was once mine
We fall into oblivion
One day I know I'll get to you soon
